Testimonials
Endurance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has literally changed my life. From my first day, I’ve been welcomed with open arms. It’s more than just a place to learn Jiu Jitsu. It’s a place to make friends who become family, get into great shape, and learn real life self defense skills that work. James’ resume speaks for itself, as one of the most well known black belts in indiana, and in the country. Please join the family!
The best part of Endurance BJJ is the community! I’m female, not particularly athletic, have two elementary-age kids, and I was super intimidated by the idea of grappling before I joined. Who would have known that I would make so many friends in so short of a time? As a beginner, the upper belts are super welcoming, fellow students are more than happy to help you get started, the instruction is top-notch, and best of all…my kids adore their coaches (shout out to both Darrell and AJ…we chose to come here over other gyms we looked at because the kids were so excited about having a cool coach to teach them!) Every day I learn something new, and when I leave practice, I am energized and motivated to come back for more, give it a try – you’ll love it!
When I began BJJ 18 months ago I was nervous and unsure it was a great idea at my age. I was a former college swimmer at a ripe age of 43, having never trained a martial art. My fears quickly subsided due to the great learning environment at Endurance and IBJJA. The experienced practitioners (upper belts) are always quick to teach a move, give pointers, pick you up when you’re experiencing difficulty rolling, or learning a new move. Initially my goal was a new hobby, but what I found was a journey of self-betterment and a lifestyle that spoke to me. I’m eternally grateful for what I’ve learned, for the friends I’ve made, the benefits to my life like stress reduction and the feeling of being on ‘a path’. One of the great things about training at Endurance and IBJJA is I can’t always tell you the life story of any of the students, but I can tell you a lot about their character!

Core Values
Every school has its own set of core values or principles upon which it is founded. They are the core beliefs of the schools and are representative of the coaches and instructors, the system in which they train and the students and composition of the students which are drawn to that school.
An Indianapolis Jiu-Jitsu school based in Zionsville, Endurance was founded to provide key core values to those in the sport who seek to train for the same reasons we do. To that effort, we never stop learning. Each new student, young or old, provides refreshed opportunity to start the path anew.
